Crews recover body of missing fisherman from Eagle Mountain Lake

TARRANT COUNTY, Texas - Search crews have recovered the body believed to be of the fisherman that disappeared after a boat capsized on Eagle Mountain Lake in Tarrant County.

Authorities say two men were fishing below the lake's dam around 2 p.m. Thursday when their boat capsized near Ten Mile Bridge and Robertson Road.

One of the men was found safe, but authorities continued searching for the second man. A dive team assisted with the search since the water was very murky in the area.

The man's body was recovered around 6:30 p.m. His name has not been released.

The Tarrant Regional Water District Lake Patrol, Azle Fire Department and the Fort Worth Fire Department helped with the search.
