Coppell family says they are being harassed by juveniles
The Varghese family says it started with some teens ringing the doorbell of their home in the Lakes of Coppell and running away.
The family says the incidents have continued since November and have gotten more extreme.
They recently had part of their door smashed in.
Shyni Varghese says that the suspects threw a hard drink at their front door, causing the glass to smash.
The incidents have been caught on home security cameras.
"It's causing fear each time it happens. We don't know and it's me and my husband and two girls and my husband's aged mother, more than 85 years old. It is causing a lot of fear and stress to us," said Shyni Varghese.
On social media, some neighbors said they had similar experiences.
"Don't do this. Don't vandalize people's properties. It's not a game. It's not a joke," said Varghese. "We don't feel safe anymore because of these incidents."
