Burglary suspect, apartment resident hurt in shootout
DALLAS - Dallas police are investigating an early morning shootout involving a burglar.
Officers found both men with gunshot wounds at the Village Home Apartments on Overton Road in East Oak Cliff.
Police said the burglar came through the window and was met with gunfire. The tenant was also shot.
Both men are expected to survive.
