Fire crews in California come to the rescue of a baby cow that fell into a well Monday night.

The rescue operation in Sonoma County was pulled off with a harness that pulled the 300-pound calf out of the well.

It had been stuck there for about four hours.

The well had been covered up, but the calf fell through.

The mother cow stayed nearby the whole time to keep an eye on their efforts.

Despite falling 16 feet and being a little cold in four feet of water, the calf appeared to be in good condition.
