ATM theft suspect arrested following chase

One man was arrested Friday morning for an ATM theft in Grand Prairie.

The fast-moving crew of thieves drove into a Shell gas station near Highway 360 and Green Oaks Boulevard around 3:45 a.m. The store was closed at the time.

The suspects used a chain to steal the money machine and then took off.

Arlington police later spotted a truck with an ATM in the bed and chased it into Dallas.

The ATM fell out around the intersection of Green Oaks and Fielder Road.

The suspects ended up getting out of the truck in west Dallas and fleeing on foot.

Police caught 24-year-old Therone Drake. He will likely face multiple charges.

Two other suspects are still on the loose.
