Fort Worth MLK parade postponed due to cold weather

The looming arctic air is putting a freeze on Fort Worth’s annual MLK Day parade.

What we know:

The annual Greater Fort Worth Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Parade and Rally has been postponed due to weather concerns.

The parade was originally set for Monday, January 20. 

That morning, temperatures are expected to dip into the 20s. Wind chills could make it feel even colder. 

This weekend’s 7th annual MLK Fort Worth Community Parade is still on schedule. It begins on Saturday at 11 a.m.
