Allen resident wins $1 million on Texas Lottery scratch off
An Allen resident started 2018 off right by winning $1 million on a scratch off.
The winner, who asked to remain anonymous, claimed the $1 million prize playing the scratch ticket game Instant Millionaire on Jan. 8.
The winning ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven Convenience Store in the 1300 block of W. McDermott Drive in Allen. That store is now eligible for a $10,000 retailer bonus.
