Allen Premium Outlets Shooting: 8 killed, 7 injured in mass shooting

Allen police say that 8 people were killed and 7 others were injured when a gunman opened fire at the Allen Premium Outlets on Saturday. A police officer who was on another call shot and killed the shooter.

A memorial to remember the eight victims killed by a gunman at Allen Premium Outlets has been set up.

The growing memorial is by the outlet mall's entrance off Stacy Road.

Crosses have been put up with flowers.

The names of the victims have not yet been released, but hospital officials said one of the victims they treated was as young as 5 years old.

The shooter has been identified as 33-year-old Mauricio Garcia.

Allen Premium Outlet Shooting: Vigil for victims, community on Sunday

The city of Allen announced it will be holding a vigil Sunday to honor the victims of Saturday's mass shooting at the Allen Premium Outlets.

A vigil was held at Cottonwood Baptist Church in Allen Sunday evening to remember the victims and help the community heal.
