Texas lawmakers look at opioid abuse

Texas lawmakers are looking at ways to combat an alarming rise in opioid deaths in the state. Last year, nearly 3,000 Texans died from opioid and other drug overdoses. That's compared to around 1,300 in 2016. Texas Tribune health and human services reporter Marissa Evans stopped by Good Day to talk about the latest statistics and possible solutions.
