National Adoption Day in Dallas

As many as 100 children got a fresh start with their new forever families on Saturday, which is National Adoption Day.

For a special event at the Henry Wade Juvenile Justice Center in Dallas, the children were greeted by costumed superheroes. Three courtrooms simultaneously finalized adoptions on Saturday, with superheroes holding the courtroom doors open for the children as they entered the courtroom.

Dozens of adoptions will be completed by noon Saturday.
