Rain tapers off, but still lots of clouds for some

Rain continues for areas east with 'misting' in the Metroplex for the remainder of the morning. Areas west will see clouds clearing by the afternoon while the Metroplex will struggle to see any breaks before sundown. Areas hardest-hit by flooding will see an additional half inch of rain or so this morning before rain finally comes to an end by this afternoon. Highs today will be in the low to mid 60s.

Only sprinkles will be left to the far southeaster counties by this evening with north winds 5-15 mph and decreasing clouds.

Temps will climb back into the 70s for the workweek, but another system sweeps in just in time for Halloween weekend.
