Last day in the Upper 80s? Forever?

More "trick" than "treat" today as we have the LAST day of near record highs!

South breezes, dry air and mostly sunny skies again combine for upper 80s this afternoon (record is 89). Of course it will be dry and warm this evening for the kids

That changes Tuesday as a disturbance gets sucked up from South Texas with low clouds, and more humidity. Those clouds will break up PM as we heat into the low to mid 80s ...and may produce a shower or two for areas south/east of Dallas.

The best chance for showers this week will be in the Wed-Wed. night-Thu AM time frame as a cold front approaches and squeezes out some of the moisture. rain chances aren't super wonderful, but it beats nothing...because nothing is what we get again by Friday into Saturday. We will cool off back into the 70s, but still will average above the normal for early November

As we turn the clocks back Sunday AM...we'll see increasing clouds, with some low shower chances into early next week.
