Heat Advisory through Thursday evening

A Heat Advisory is in effect for all of North Texas through Thursday at 8 p.m.

Wednesday afternoon temperatures will only climb into the low 90s, but with unseasonably high moisture in the air, the heat index will soar to +105°. Extra care should be taken for those spending prolonged periods outside.

Tomorrow will also bring triple digit heat indexes into the North Texas area. No rain in sight until the weekend, and even then, it's only a 20% chance. 

Expect 90s all the way into next week as the ridge returns, only to promise even warmer temps.
