Flash Flood Watch continues as inundating rain falls across North Texas

Rain has been falling on and off across North Texas since Thursday afternoon... and will continue to fall through Sunday afternoon.

A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for all of North Texas until 6 a.m. on Sunday.

An additional 3-6" could fall between Friday morning and Sunday afternoon, exacerbating flooding issues.

Severe weather threats will be at a minimum as flooding remains the primary concern. Temps today will continue to slowly fall from the upper 40s to the low to mid 40s by this afternoon. Lows overnight will be in the upper 30s.

Saturday only stays in the upper 30s across the area with wind chills in the 20s with continued rain.

Sunday brings highs in the mid 40s and light rain through the afternoon. Monday brings the return of the sunshine but highs will only be in the low 50s.
