AM Showers give way to afternoon sticky heat

Morning showers continue to drop rain across much of the north and western portions of the viewing area but should begin to clear as a cold front pushes SE across North Texas.

Chances of rain for the Metroplex go from 40% this morning to 20% this afternoon with mostly cloudy skies and a high of 90°. Tonight, light winds and rain chances reduce to 10-20% with lows in the mid 70s.

Chances of rain hold at 20% for Sunday with a high of 91° and then highs stay stead in the low to mid 90s all week long with drier weather settling back into place.
