FULL: Rapper Pooh Shiesty arrested in Dallas kidnapping
The Department of Justice gives an update on multiple arrests in connection with a robbery and kidnapping at a Dallas music studio. Federal authorities have charged nine individuals, including prominent Memphis rappers Lontrell Williams Jr., known as "Pooh Shiesty," and Rodney Wright Jr., known as "BIG30," in connection with the violent armed robbery and kidnapping of three people at a Dallas music studio. Authorities believe the motive behind the kidnapping was to get Williams out of his contract with New 1017 Records, which is owned by Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane, whose real name is Radric Davis.
