Mild and Quiet...Until the Weekend!

Warm south breezes keep North Texas in the 70s and mainly quiet through Thursday. By Friday, the next cold front slowly approaches from the Northwest. Isolated showers turn to scattered storms by Friday night into Saturday. The greatest chance for storms will be east of DFW. Strong north winds takeover behind the cold front for the weekend. Noticeably cooler air moves in, with highs only in the 50s.
