One dead after an officer involved shooting in Deep Ellum

One person is dead after multiple people were shot in Deep Ellum on Canton Street and South Good Latimer Expressway early Saturday morning. One of the officers who responded to the scene fired their gun at the suspect. Investigators say multiple weapons were also found at the scene.
