Israel wants to evacuate Palestinians from Rafah

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the military to make plans to evacuate civilians from the southern Gaza City of Rafah. Nearly 1.4 million Palestinians are sheltering there. The announcement comes as Israel faces mounting international criticism, including from President Biden, who called the offensive “over the top.”
