Marques Bolden, a state title-winning center at DeSoto High School, announced Thursday afternoon that he will play basketball at Duke next season.
Bolden is the top-ranked high school senior in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, according to the 247Sports.com composite rankings, which pools recruiting rating from several services. He is a five-star recruit and the top-ranked center in the nation.
The 6-foot-11, 250-pound Bolden picked the Blue Devils over Kentucky and TCU. He will rejoin former DeSoto guard Matt Jones, a rising senior, at Duke.
