Cowboys QB Tony Romo eager to play with Miami a possibility
IRVING, Texas (AP) — Tony Romo is eager to help the Dallas Cowboys end their seven-game losing streak Sunday at Miami.
He is expected to start, though coach Jason Garrett is taking things day by day as his veteran quarterback heals from a broken left collarbone.
The defending NFC East champions (2-7) have lost all seven games Romo missed. He says no one in the Cowboys locker room feels the season is over — and that's an exciting sign.
The Cowboys went 0-3 with Branden Weeden starting and then lost four more with Matt Cassel under center. Weeden was cut on Tuesday.
