Cowboys legend George Andrie dies at 78

DALLAS - One of the best defensive linemen in Dallas Cowboys history died on Tuesday.

George Andrie spent his entire 10-year career with the Cowboys. He was a five-time pro-bowl player and was on the team that won Super Bowl VI.

Andrie’s most memorable play was a fumble return in the Ice Bowl game against the Green Bay Packers in 1967. He was an original member of the famed Doomsday Defense.

He died of heart failure at the age of 78.
