Cowboys' Bryant to miss finale over lingering foot issues

IRVING, Texas (AP) — Dallas receiver Dez Bryant will miss the finale against Washington on Sunday and is likely to have another procedure on the right foot he broke in the season opener.

Bryant missed five games after surgery on the broken foot and came back following another procedure to speed the healing. The 2014 All-Pro played in eight straight games before sitting last weekend against Buffalo.

Coach Jason Garrett said Wednesday that Bryant also was dealing with a left ankle injury, and had issues with his left knee after returning from the broken foot.

Bryant will be placed on injured reserve along with safety Barry Church and defensive end David Irving. Church broke his right arm and Irving fractured his left wrist against the Bills.
