Child pornography arrests: Court documents show how North Texas police were tipped off

Court documents reveal what led to some of the 59 suspects being arrested in North Texas. One victim was just 3 years old.

A former youth pastor in Frisco was arrested on child pornography charges.

Frisco police say they received an online tip about 36-year-old Kyle Timothy Poff possessing child pornography. He was arrested at his Little Elm home on Thursday.

Police say Poff was a former youth pastor in the Frisco and Arlington areas but did not provide any further details.

Poff is charged with possession of child pornography.  He faces up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. His bond was set at $10,000.

Woman kills boy, 14, who tried to burglarize her, Fort Worth police say

A teenage boy was shot and killed at a Fort Worth apartment complex after police say he tried to burglarize a woman's home, and that woman shot him. She is cooperating with the investigation.
