Multiple families displaced after Fort Worth apartment fire

FORT WORTH, Texas - Eight apartment units sustained heavy smoke, fire and water damage in Fort Worth Friday night.

Firefighters were called just before 11 p.m. to an apartment complex on Westcreek Drive, just south of Interstate 20.

Crews on scene said no one was injured.

The Red Cross is helping tenants who were displaced.

The cause of the fire is under investigation
