GRAPEVINE, Texas - The Grapevine Police Department is investigating a stabbing that happened just before 10 p.m. outside an apartment complex in Grapevine.

Police were called to a convenience store near an apartment complex in Grapevine, near the intersection of Mustang Dr. and Tanglewood Dr. A clerk told police the teen ran into the store bleeding, then collapsed on the floor.
Police discovered the 19-year-old was stabbed three times. Police began lifesaving treatment. Medics arrived a few minutes later and took the victim to the hospital. He is expected to survive.
Investigators say they began canvassing the area and were able to trace the crime to a nearby apartment complex.
Police say they were able to identify the victim's brother as the suspect.
The brother has been identified as 24-year-old Angel Martinez. He is facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is currently being held at the Grapevine Detention Center. He will eventually be transferred to the Tarrant County Jail.
