Grand Prairie resident wins $2M lottery prize

A Grand Prairie resident won a $2 million prize in a recent Mega Millions drawing.

$2M lottery ticket sold in Arlington

What we know:

The winning ticket was from the Jan. 24 drawing. The white balls were 8, 12, 43, 52 and 62 with a Mega Ball of 18.

The winner matched all five of the white ball numbers, but not the Mega Ball number.

The Texas Lottery says that the ticket was purchased at Ballpark Beverage on Lamar Boulevard in Arlington.

What we don't know:

The Grand Prairie resident chose to remain anonymous.
