Father of Pulse shooter attends Hillary Clinton rally

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The father of the Orlando gay nightclub shooter was spotted at a campaign event for Hillary Clinton in central Florida. 

Seddique Mateen was standing in a crowd behind Clinton during the Monday night event in Kissimmee, south of Orlando.   Omar Mateen killed 49 people at the Orlando nightclub on June 12, before he was killed in a shootout with police.

Speaking to FOX 35 shortly after the shooting, Seddique Mateen said of the shooting, "I am dearly saddened, and I am very upset about the whole thing."
