Eminem blasts President Trump in BET awards freestyle

The BET Hip Hop Awards were Tuesday night, but the biggest moment may have come from a pre-recorded video by rapper Eminem.

In the video, which was posted on YouTube titled "Eminem rips Donald Trump in BET Hip Hop Awards Freestyle Cypher," the Detroit native skewered President Donald Trump in a four-minute a capella barrage, shown during the awards show.

Eminem's expletive-filled riffs included takes on Trump's handling of the immigration issue, North Korea nuclear tensions, white supremacy, the NFL, Puerto Rico, gun control, and, of course, the president's use of Twitter.

The video opens with a black screen and the words: “Eminem, 10.06.17 Detroit, MI.”

He then appears in a parking structure and starts with, “This is the calm before the storm.”

"But we better give Obama props/ 'Cause what we've got in office now is/ A kamikaze that'll probably cause a nuclear holocaust / While the drama pops and he waits for (expletive) to quiet down/ He'll just cast his plane up and fly around - 'till the bombing stops."

In another section he says:

"It's like we take a step forwards then backwards but this is his form of distraction/ Plus he gets an enormous reaction when he attacks the NFL so we focus on that and/ / Instead of talking Puerto Rico or gun reform for Nevada/ All these horrible tragedies and he's bored or would rather/ Cause a Twitter storm with the Packers."

Eminem also touches on Trump’s take on Sen. John McCain, a former POW captured in Vietnam.

“Unless you’re a POW whose tortured and battered/ Because to him you’re zeros because he don’t like his war heroes captured/ That’s not disrespecting the military.”
