A driver was killed in a chain reaction crash that involved several 18-wheelers on Interstate 20 in Terrell.

It happened Wednesday morning near the new Buc-ees travel store.

Police said a truck driver was going too fast and ran into the backup of an earlier accident.

The truck rear-ended a passenger car, killing that driver.

It also pushed the car into three other 18-wheelers that were stuck in the backup.

A tandem FedEx truck caused the original accident. It caught fire because of brake problems and the interstate had to be shut down for cleanup.
