Dallas Police Chief David Brown looks like he’s ready to cheer on the Longhorns this football season.

Charlie Strong, the University of Texas’s head football coach, sent Brown an autographed football.

On Monday, Brown posted pictures on Twitter posing with the ball. He even did his best Heisman and Dab move in the photos.

Brown actually received a full ride to UT when he graduated. But he ended up back in North Texas and graduated from Dallas Baptist University.

“I left UT senior year to join DPD to do something about crack cocaine epidemic in my hood,” Brown said on Twitter. “That was 33 yrs ago finished degree at DBU Masters at Amberton but always a Longhorn.”

Brown thanked his alma mater for the touching gift.
