Bridge over Hwy. 80 in Forney damaged in crash
FORNEY, Texas - A crash in Forney damaged an overpass and caused traffic headaches for hours on Wednesday.
A trailer in the upright position on a hydraulic rock hauler hit the Pinson Road Bridge. It was heading eastbound on Highway 80.
Forney police photos showed extensive damage to the bridge. Fortunately, the truck driver was not hurt.
Eastbound traffic was diverted off the highway before it was reopened around 3:30 p.m.
