Westbound Interstate 20 was shut down in Grand Prairie early Friday morning because of an overturned 18-wheeler.

The truck was hauling food. When it flipped under an overpass between Carrier Parkway and Highway 161, it scattered debris across both sides of the interstate.

Several other vehicles were involved in the crash, but there were no life-threatening injuries. The truck driver suffered a back injury.

The highway remains closed while crews work to clean up the mess.
