'Slavery at Monticello' exhibit comes to Dallas

It's an uncomfortable truth. Thomas Jefferson, one of America's founding fathers, was a slave owner. And you can soon learn more about that controversial part of his life. City council member Kevin Felder played a key role in getting the exhibit to the Museum of African American History. He joined Good Day with Gayle Jessup White, who works at Monticello and is a descendant of Jefferson and his slave lover.
