Former Dallas Police Officer Amber Guyger was granted parole after serving seven years for the shooting death of Botham Jean. Guyger was originally sentenced to 10 years in prison back in 2019, and was eligible for parole after serving five years. Plus, a very rainy Thursday across the metroplex. The State Fair of Texas even delayed its opening today.
