President Donald Trump has approved the execution of Nidal Malik Hasan by firing squad. The decision follows a recommendation from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and was confirmed by the Pentagon. Hasan was sentenced to death in 2013 for the 2009 mass shooting at Fort Hood, Texas, where he killed 13 people and wounded 32 others.
