Dallas interstate overhaul project faces funding gap

TxDOT has received environmental clearance for the $1.7 billion I-345 reconstruction project in Dallas, which will transform the interstate into a below-street-level roadway, but construction will not begin until 2029 after the preceding I-30 Canyon Project is finished and the remaining $1 billion in funding is secured.
