Dallas teen challenges perceptions of living with SMA
August marks Spinal Muscular Atrophy month. The genetic neuromuscular disease causes loss of motor neurons, which can affect muscle function. One Dallas teen is changing the perception of those who live with it. He is a star on his wheelchair basketball team and is now working with the "Smashing My Limits" campaign to support teens and young adults with SMA.
