Murder-for-hire plot foiled during theft probe

Plano police say Michael McCloud was boisterous and belligerent when he walked into one of his favorite restaurants and started talking to a stranger about needing a gun silencer to take care of his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend. Little did he know that stranger was an off-duty detective.
