Garland Salvation Army
FOX 4 visited the Salvation Army center in Garland to take a look at how they're preparing for the cold weather.
They say they plan to stay open until at least Monday, and expect to house at least 50 people Saturday night.
What they're saying:
"It's humbling to realize that we have the privilege of being able to make sure there's a place that they know, that they can come to, that they know, and they're loved most of them. We know them by name, so there's a great reminder with that," said Sgt. Bernard Thomas with the Salvation Army.
