Shocking video of a substitute teacher in Charlotte telling a student to 'go back to where he speaks Spanish' is blowing up on social media.

In the video the teacher is heard saying, "Go back where you speak Spanish if you don't want to speak English" with his hand pointing high up in the air.

The student replies back stating, "You're racist."

The substitute teacher answers back, "I'm racist? Right. When you're in my classroom..."

The video then cuts off. This incident occurred at South Mecklenburg High School. Principal Doctor Maureen Furr sent a text to parents this week. In that message she said in part that, "The situation is under review and that the school seeks to create a safe and respectful environment."

The name of the teacher has not been officially released.
