Power generator catches fire at Dallas apartment complex

DALLAS - Fire alarms woke up people at the Gables Park Apartments near Downtown Dallas early Thursday morning.

Responding fire crews said power generator caught fire.

The generator was cycling on and off due to blackouts.

Firefighters put out fans to remove the smoke.

No injuries were reported.
