IRVING, Texas - Irving police said a motorcyclist was killed in a wrong-way crash early Saturday morning on State Highway 114.
What we know:
The crash happened just after 2:30 a.m. Saturday on the eastbound side of SH 114 near Hidden Ridge.
Irving police said a vehicle was traveling westbound in the eastbound when it struck the motorcycle head-on.
The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the driver was intoxicated and was arrested. The passenger of the vehicle was arrested for public intoxication, authorities said.
What we don't know:
The name of the victim has not been released.
Police did not give the names of the driver and passenger that were arrested.
