Dallas weather: North Texas schools closed on Monday
Ice, snow and sleet have fallen across North Texas and several school districts, organizations and events are canceling or changing their schedules.
Early Saturday, Fort Worth, Arlington, and Duncanville ISD joined the growing list of districts canceling class for Monday. Grapevine-Colleyville, Keller, Birdville, Carroll, Corsicana, Eagle Mountain-Saginaw, Ferris, Gainesville, Mabank, and Melissa, Millsap, Red Oak, Waxahachie, and Weatherford ISDs previously made their decision to close on Monday.
Many districts in the DFW area have also canceled after-school activities, including Arlington and Plano ISD. Others are likely to decide their plan today or tomorrow.

School closings are reported by FOX 4 News Dallas-Fort Worth when relayed to us by the school systems such as Dallas ISD, Fort Worth ISD, Frisco ISD, Arlington ISD, Garland ISD, Plano ISD, Lewisville ISD, Mesquite ISD, Richardson ISD, Mansfield ISD, Keller ISD, Irving ISD, Denton ISD, Northwest ISD, Grand Prairie ISD, Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD, Prosper ISD and other public, charter and private schools across the North Texas area.

Hospitals
Scottish Rite's outpatient clinics and all ancillary appointments at the Dallas and Frisco campuses will be canceled on Monday, January 26, including the Frisco Fracture Clinic and Therapy Services at The Star. As of now, surgeries at the Frisco campus have been rescheduled. However, surgeries at the Dallas campus will continue as scheduled with a delayed start time of 10 a.m.
Cook Children's is closing several of its primary care offices and specialty care clinics early on Friday. The urgent care centers and medical care centers in Fort Worth and Prosper will continue to operate as usual. Check www.cookchildrens.org/closures for a full list of closures.
Museums & Attractions
The Kimball Art Museum will be closed this weekend due to the weather. Because Friday is the final day to see the Myth and Marble: Ancient Roman Sculpture from the Torlonia Collection, the museum will close at 8 p.m. on Friday.
The Dallas Opera has canceled the upcoming Hart Institute for Women Conductors 10th Anniversary Showcase Concert, reception, and celebration dinner on Sunday. Ticket holders will be contacted directly.
The Perot Museum of Nature and Science will be closed on Saturday, Jan. 24 due to the winter weather. The museum said they will review the situation on Saturday before making a decision about whether they'll be open on Sunday.
