Dallas County reports first West Nile death of season
DALLAS - Dallas County reported its first death this season from the West Nile virus.
The victim was 90 years old and lived in Dallas.
It’s not clear if this was one of the first two cases in people that the county reported last month.
This patient had the much more serious neuroinvasive form of the illness.
The county is reminding people to take precautions when it comes to mosquitoes.
