Time to Take the Tumble!
Ready to go CRUNCH? First official FREEZE of the year on the way (even though many have already had one).
A strong cold front is moving through this morning with winds ready to pick up and temps that will likely hold in the 40s all day. There are a lot of clouds, which will last most of the day south of the Metroplex (maybe a sprinkle) but will thin out for areas DFW north in the afternoon. Wind CHILLS will stay in the 30s all day as well.
As the sun sets and winds die off, we'll see widespread 20s for lows tonight...even a few areas near 20 up north!
Friday starts cold but moderates with sun and some PM clouds with a SW wind into the 50s.
Another cold start Saturday, but should moderate to near 60 by afternoon with a NW breeze.
Sunday moderates even more after a calm, cold start in the 30s...a quick JUMP into the 60s is expected as winds turn SW again.
That will keep it mild into Monday (near 70) as another cold front swings through in the afternoon with gusty winds.
At this time, next week looks DRY with a brief cool down Tuesday...and milder Wednesday.
