Saturday starts off warm and muggy... and finishes that way too. We'll top out around 97°, but you factor in the heat index and it will feel more like 98° to 102° this afternoon. Sunshine will prevail over a few clouds with light winds. There is a 10% chance of rain, mainly east of the Metroplex.
Tonight, lows still far above average around 79° with dry conditions and mostly clear skies.
Sunday is a repeat of today, with Labor Day even warmer with a high of 99° and dry conditions.
FINALLY relief comes next week as a cold front sweeps through North Texas giving us a good chance for rain and temps almost 15 degrees cooler for a couple of days before the heat returns.
