Another weekend...another chance for storms! Figures, right?

Today will be quite HOT again. AND HUMID! Highs near 100 and a Heat Index 107+ means a Heat Advisory in the MPLEX and east.

As for storms? A cluster in OK may clip far northern areas this AM BUT an outflow boundary from the storms will settle just north/east of the MPLEX and could be a trigger for new ones PM-eve. Coverage is 20% Metro...30% N & E.

Saturday is more interesting. A weak front will stall very close to the MPLEX. There could be a few storms in the morning from DFW N & E (20%) BUT new storms will blow up PM-eve and with a strong disturbance indicated...the coverage will be higher in the evening or night hours. Could be 50% with strong to severe winds possible. Highs from DFW south and west will be upper 90s...even 100 southwest. 90s North and east.

Sunday's weather really depends on Saturday night. A widespread cluster would temper storm chances Sunday. If we don't get as many? They would be more widespread Sunday PM. ATM, we'll set coverage at 30%. Highs mid 90s.

One last decent storm risk Monday as the front will be nearby before HIGH PRESSURE starts to build in. Temps head back into the upper 90s Tue-Wed and will likely cross 100 by later next week, and could last into next weekend!
