TEA sued for investigating posts regarding Charlie Kirk

After the Charlie Kirk assassination, people who cheered him and castigated him took to social media including Teachers Commissioner, Mike Morath, who warned that educators could face discipline for negative vile posts and encouraged the public to report teachers who made such comments. The teacher’s union says what the state is doing has chilled teacher’s first amendment rights.
