Pastor's brush with death inspires unscheduling advice

A near death experience gave a North Texas pastor a new outlook on life. In 2018, Gateway Church's senior pastor Robert Morris suffered two torn arteries, internal bleeding and nearly died. After months of recovery he returned to his church and started encouraging people to take the day off. His new book with that title advises people to put nothing on their calendar for a day. He says it's a pass from the highest authority.
